S.L.A.A. Dublin Fellowship Weekend - November 18th to 20th, 2011.
SLAA Dublin Fellowship are hosting a weekend November 18th - 20th of November 2011.
The weekend will be an opportunity to engage with the principles and practices of SLAA. During the weekend members can attend meetings and workshop based around the 12 Steps and matters of interest to them. It offers a a chance to meet others member on their paths in recovery and sobriety. There are a range of meetings to attend, workshops to participate in and time to reflect and be with other members. The weekend also offers good food, entertainment and fun.
The weekend is hosted in a retreat centre 40 minutes from Dublin in Co. Louth. The centre allows separate accommodation for men and women. Their are 28 room, 19 in the main house and 9 in a separate bungalow. Directions and map are available on request.
PROGRAM:
Meetings and Workshops
Friday 14:00 The Centre will open for helpers to unload and store food, prepare Friday evening meal and set up meeting rooms, etc.
16:00 to 19:30 Reception, settling in and evening meal.
19:45 to 20:00 Weekenders’ Group Conscience will agree a programme of meetings and activities for the duration of the weekend.
Saturday: Agreed Programme continues.
Sunday: Programme ends with lunch at 13:00, and, departure around 15:00
MEALS:
Pre-prepared lunches and evening meals, which we cook, will be provided by Butler’s Pantry, caterers. There will also be a full Irish breakfast on Sunday Morning. Tea, coffee and sandwiches will be available at all times.
PAYMENT:
Payment is €115 ( £100) p.p. and is inclusive of all meals and accommodation (single rooms only) for two nights. Booking deposit is €45 (£40) p.p. (non returnable)
To secure a room please send cheque or bank draft, made out to ‘Augustine's Weekend' for the deposit (or full amount), indicate male or female, and post to:
